circkets behavior invesitgation

Question:Do crickets prefer wet or dry environment?
this shows the movement of the cricket
Background Research:Crickets like to eat rotten tomatoes, other insects, each other and moist things to get moisture in there body. Crickets also eat smaller beetles, grass and crops. If your breeding them you should feed the crickets strawberries, cucumber, fruit loops and damp sponges.
this is the cricket on the dry side of the tank
Hypothesis: If crickets go more to the wet side of the cage then that means that the crickets prefer wet land over dry because they need the moisture in their body.

What i did to do this investigation is i made connecting lines that show the cricket's movement during a period of time

This week in science #6

This week in science week we did a lot of different stuff. One of the things that we did was doing some background research on crickets to see what kind of things they eat. Also we were deciding on a project to do to find out what kind of surface or what kind of light they like. For example do they prefer light or dark, hot or cold, smooth or rough surfaces etc. Finally we were making a dichotomous key about jelly beans.

this is an example of a dichotomous key
What i learned this week was the different things the crickets like to eat. They like to eat rotten tomato, other insects, each other and moist things things to get moisture in their body. Also i learned what a dichotomous key is. It is a chart the puts thing in its own category but what it is.

this week in science #4

This week in science we started and finish our second plant investigation on the plant Brassica rapa. Everybody had to pick a job for the old list and plus the new ones that made this investigation much better than it was before. We had to started the project on Tuesday and on Wednesday we had to finish it up. This project was probably a little harder because we had to do a background research on the plant. I thought that it was hard to fine a website that had a lot of information that that can help.
Last week in science we did a second chart that was more detailed than the first one and this time we had the data already. We had to use the numbers to make a line graph. The graph in my group shower the growth in three different plants that was planted in different things. Like soil, sand and fertilizer .
