  This week in science we did some things like making a little booklet. We made the little book so that we could keep track of what the spider does and what change we see. Some changes we could see is the spider making a web or even making a bigger web than it already did. Since our spider didn't want to make a web we had to add two more spider. After we added the two extra spiders, we notices that they all had made a web and that they caught some of the fruit flies. We added fruit flies so that the spider would have something to catch. The fruit flies that we put in the tank are genetically engineered fruit flies that cant fly, that way they cant get out of the tank.
     This week in science some things that i learned was you could alter a fruit flies so that it couldn't fly. I think that it is really cool that but also kind of sad that the fruit flies have wings but cant use them because of the alteration.
